I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and abilty. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2001 Kia Sportage EX with just 71k original miles. I would rate the exterior of this Sportage to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking little truck. It is finished in black over gray. The black finish shows a little age but shines nicely overall and looks smooth. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. The body lines are nice and straight. All of the trim and moldings are all present and show well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this little SUV came in. I would also rate the interior of this Sportage to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The cloth seats are clean, comfortable and show minimal wear. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The audio system is original and sounds good through the factory speakers. The interior is surprisingly spacious for a small SUV. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Sportage appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.0L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older vehicle. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the five speed manual transmission are nice and easy, as they should be. This is the first one of these I've had so I am not exactly experienced with them, but everything seems to be doing what it should be doing. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without prior written permission may be assessed a storage fee of $10/ day. Storage fees will be deducted first from any monies paid to Liberty Auto Exchange. Non-Paying Bidders: We take what we do very seriously and ask that potential bidders take placing their bid just as seriously. Non-Paying Bidders will be assessed a re-listing fee of $249. This fee is considered due and payable, without demand, to Liberty Auto Exchange on the 8th day from the end of the auction. Non-Paying Bidders will be reported to eBay, blocked from bidding on future auctions and may be referred to our Collection Agency for credit reporting and fee recovery. Fees and Taxes The only fee we charge is the $149 Administrative Fee that is also disclosed in the first sentence of the written description. Because we sell with NO RESERVE, we have no way to control how much (if any) money we make per vehicle. This fee helps us isolate a few of our fixed, per transaction expenses in a way that is fair to everyone. The winning bidder is responsible for paying all required fees to their respective state of origin. We are a PennDOT issuing agent and are happy to provide low cost title / tag services to Pennsylvania Residents. *For Out-Of-State Residents, we offer a PennDOT 30 day In-Transit Tag to legally drive your vehicle to your home state.
